Have a Swiss Knife? You'll love this Swiss Room Box

Postby John T. Hodgen » Thu Dec 29, 2011 6:59 am

Hey all,
A friend of the Hodgen Family from Indiana sent this to us. Knowing that we camp with lots of people, she thought we'd love it! Anybody for camping?

You have the Swiss Army knife, now the next phase.... Swiss Room Box

do you know how long it would take me to screw that whole setup up?..about 1 day..you have to be very organized to work that thing..and that table was pretty low to the ground, but, if i were camping with her, who cares...

Yeah, the shower part was over the top, made me feel kinda dirty :D A site I seen on this, says it takes about 10 minutes to install but less than 2 mins to use  That table, I'd have to sit on the ground and then crawl up on the chair

Yep, think someone on this forum posted that a year or two back?? Remember thinkin' then that it is definitely for young folks. I've had too many nights sleepin' on the ground for these old bones/joints to enjoy all that liftin' & tuggin' anymore... 'Sides, I'd probably forget where/how everything went anyway ;)

Neat if you have a TV like that one. however my Jeep or Jennies car would not be able to use it. Plus it seems to me that i have more headroom in Charley. Plus I really do not need to set up much to have my galley. The shower does give me ideas, andif i act upon those thoughts i will have more plumbing in my future.

THat it the thing i hate about this site, it allows so much more creep into my build oh i need this or that.

I'd need to have a manual on hand everytime I used it, just to figure out how everything goes together and stores away. I'd probably get everything out and can't get it to fit back together. :?

Good thing the shower curtain protects the car.

I just ran their prices thru a currency converter and the cheapest one costs $8452, and the most expensive one costs $10,012! Wowza! That doesn't include any options either. I think I'd rather find a teardrop or a used fiberglass egg for that much.

That's absolute genius. But can you imagine when you first open the instruction manual! Probably like an IKEA assembly booklet on acid. I wondered if the movie was going to take a whole different direction when the caption "Hot shower dream" popped up!

Happy camping folks.

I have to admit, the boxes are neat, but I'd prefer the brunette.
