:rofl2: I see I've done it again.
Hummm. This, I believe is a thread. Should have said "build" album or website. Like Mike and Steve and some of the others. or ask MIKE. Just leave a URL so we can get to it.

I thought this was a thread, but I had to ask. I get blogs, forums, yada, yada, yada all mixed up.

I do have a build website available @ http://home.comcast.net/~woodpuzzles/tikidudesteardrop.htm

The diamond plate is liquid nailed and trim screwed on, extra durable.

Take it easy,

Tiki Dude,
Thanks for the URL, it's great.

Somehow that sounds too easy. Kiss in action :lips:
thinking the forward bottom curve will need some protecting.

Lovin it.

Love the picks! I like the porch light you have by the door. Where did you get it? Have you registered it yet? I think I will also use diamond plate in the front.

:applause:

I should put pontoons under my teardrop then I could lay in bed and fish out the door.

Hi Robert,

I picked up the porch light off of eBay, I will be posting the user names of all the great suppliers on eBay soon. Cutsmetal (eBay user name) is the supplier of very fair priced diamond plate, they even custom cut.

The trailer is already registered with the state, I just need to renew it.

Right now I am just planning my design and getting ideas for parts. I don't know if I should register the trailer frame or wait until the TD is finished.
I know the trailer frame has to be inspected and I have no problem with that.
I just am curious as to how much I will have to spend to get it registered.

My frame was professionally built a few years ago, so it's not like I built it from the ground up.

Good luck and keep us posted on the design and build process.

Well. I almost had it on the road yesterday, But I found out my 2003 Ford Windstar requires a special converter for the towing lights ($75.00). I have never had that problem before. The vehicle is a Canadian made vehicle (I didn't know that either) and their wire harnesses are different. Oh well, you live and learn.
