Our foamie is complete. We've taken it on 4 trips already this summer and plan a few more. It's so much better than we'd even dreamed we can't get enough camping in it.

It does weigh more than we'd hoped - about 1800# fully loaded. Pulls like a dream behind our Tracker, though. We took it to the Upper Peninsula in May, had wind gusts up to 50mph with no trouble. We did have to take our awning down but the trailer is rock solid. We also hit a deer on the way home - the only damage was a cracked control housing on the winch. It was covered by extended warranty so Tim took it back to HF and got a new one.
The electric brakes on the trailer helped slow us down quickly, the winch kept the deer from hitting the windshield so all in all we're very lucky. Sadly, the deer didn't make it.
I'd like to build another foamie but Tim is not ready yet. He'll get bored-----
