LoneStar,

We always welcome lurkers, That's half the reason we build these so we can show them off and infect other people with the teardrop bug. As a matter of fact now that I think about it this may be a movemen, A TEARDROP MOVEMENT  .

Thanks bg. me too........Charles too......He had a stint placed on Feb 6 and lithotripsy (shock wave) dont last Thursday. Goes for x-ray Friday and Doctor next Tuesday. If he has passed all the pieces (hasn't seen any) then the stint will come out shortly after and we really hope it is during our Spring Break so it won't interfeer with Beaver's Bend. If they want to schedule it near the end of the month they will just have to wait till after the trip... We both need this trip.
We had problems with the hydrolics in the galley pulling the screws out of the hinge but we finally got that taken care of. So we are ready to head off to a gatheirng since Hurricane Rita cancelled Inks Lake
Looking forward to Beaver's Bend

Wish we were going to be able to have a campfire, I have a few tons of firewood I need to get rid of.

BG,

Do you think we'll still be under a burn ban by then. Of course it is pretty dry around.

Who is coming?

Postby Cindy » Sun Mar 05, 2006 4:32 pm

Here is the list of who seems to be coming to Cedar Hill as far as I can tell. Is there anybody else?
Oh, yes, on Saturday night we should have a potluck. What do we want to eat?
Here is the list: Cindy & Dave, Rocky & Mel, Kai & Lois, George T & Laura, Smoky Bob & Judith, Gary & Trudy, BG, Earl, Greg, Mike, War Pony, and RWhitley. Sorry, I don't know some of your names.
I show reservations paid for Gary & Trudy and Kai & Lois. Anybody else want me to pick up your reservations?

BG,

Neat place to go. Eat some crab for me while you're there.

Never been to the east coast before, so it should be fun. Thing is, I may be moving there within a month.

Found a job up there?

They have good crabcakes, make shure you get to try some while you're there. It's easier than eating crab. I go fishing with a bunch of Texas boys, I had to teach the how to eat blue crab.

Cedar Hill

Postby Taralyn » Mon Mar 06, 2006 8:06 pm

Wanna-be builders from Houston (AKA Brooks Bunch) will be headed toward Cedar Hill Friday morning. If weather is good for tenting, we'll be camping :worship: ; otherwise, we'll wimp it out in a local hotel and visit the park.

We'll be returning our oldest grandchild to his parental units in Denton at the end of his Spring Break, so Cedar Hill will be our first opportunity to to see a Teardrop up close and personal after Inks Lake was canx by Rita. Looking forward to meeting the faces behind the pix and postings.

Yea, just a matter of getting out there to try it out, then decide from there.

Dave

We reserved back in January, but haven't gotten any confirmation from the park. Benroy McFull is ready: we spent last weekend "driveway camping" at my son's place. We added an electric heater to the package, and survived 35 degree temperature! I've got a backbrace to put in my "new" antique kayak, then we'll see if they still float, after all this time.
