Greetings from Sunny* Oregon!

I'm just beginning the pre-planning phase for building a teardrop. So I thought I'd join a forum and see if I couldn't discourage myself out of it.

So, hello all! I'm still looking at plans (leaning toward Kuffel to start, but I don't think that's unusual), and will likely be asking more and more questions as I go along.

You'll be seeing more of me. You can count on it!

Chris

I suppose I should also mention that I'm an experienced wood woodworker, with a full shop. I've done my fair share of furniture design and construction, but I have never really done any metal working.

So this will be an adventure, regardless!

Welcome to the Forum Chris
I too am fairly new here and in the midst of a Teardrop Project.
Mine will have no wood at all!
Different approach, but resulting in the same finished product.

Always to see another Oregonian here, welcome. Im sure you will do a great job on the build. Look forward to seeing some photos of the build and meeting you at one of our gathering here in the northwest.

I'm looking forward to meeting some folks, too!

I'll definitely be posting a journal and photos as we go along.

Chris

I'm from one of the Oregon towns, with no sun! You have several master teardrop builders in your area, go visit, you will be finished in a hurry

Welcome to the group

Loved the "sunny " disclaimer! Welcome to the forum. Probably the last place you should hang out if you actually did want to talk yourself out of it. It's a great, fun group and the bug is extremely contagious ( and the Fred Meyer pharmacy does not have vaccine available)
Enjoy!
