Hi everyone. I have been reading your stuff for about 6 months and building our camper since July. All of you have been a great help. My son and I started our build after I saw one on YouTube and we have enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for all of your help. Maybe this spring we will finish and start another.

Thanks Cliff

My wife thought I was crazy when I started this since we already have a travel trailer but now she is into it and helping me and my son Jason and coming up with ideas of her own. Thanks again for all of your help.

Thanks Woody and Tammy. Maybe if Jason, Caroline and I get ours finished this spring we can join you on one of your camp outs. I saw the one posted in Mineral Wells in the fall. Thanks again for your warm welcome.

Hey Red6man, welcome! I was stationed at Sheppard AFB for 4 years and both of my boys were born there. Still have some great friends there and get to visit every once in a while. I am just working on my first TD too...maybe we can meet up one day. If you every want to come down to Lake Amistad to do some bass fishing let me know.

Welcome Red6man,

Glad to have another Texas teardropper on board. You don't have to have your teardrop finished to go camping with us. As long as it took me to build I've tent camped more with the South Central group then I have teardrop camped. If you don't have tent gear let us know and we'll get you fixed up.

Take care,
Tom

Thanks Glenn,

It was 65 here today so I worked on the galley cabinets and some on the inside cabinets. Made a little headway on it. Maybe we can meet some day and I sure do love to fish. I have a 10 pound bass on my wall I caught at Lake Nocona years ago.

Thanks Tom,

I look forward to getting together with everyone and do some of that good camping. I have some tents and a little 15' trailer. My wife calls the teardrop my dog house and at first thought me and my son Jason was crazy but she's coming around now. Thanks for the offer on the tents.

David find one of the local TD owners and see if they'll let you come look with your wife and I guarantee you once she see's how much room is in there she'll change her mind!
