I know a fair amount about cars, but the majority of what I know about '50s American iron is about Fords and Chevys.

Got 100%.

Identifying the make of the cars on the road was a favorite childhood game
of ours back in the 1950s.

When I was hospitalized in the late 1950s, for pneumonia, I can vividly
recall sitting by the hospital room window with my Dad and having a game
of identifying all the different cars that drove by. It surprised him that I
knew them all!

Cheers,

I got 70%.....not bad I think. Being born in the 60's, childhood of the 70's and teenaged in the 80's puts me a little off the the 50's car game. I'm sure I couldv'e done better with a test more fitting my youngedness...youngerness.....youther....dang it! youthfulness!

94%. I missed the year on a couple. The odd car were easy since I always collected weired cars.
Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Ask yourself these simple questions every time you are in doubt about any action.

:), 75% and I live in Australia, although I grew up with many of these cars. If I could put up some cars I'll bet I could catch a lot of people out. They would all be Amercian based but with bodies made either by GM-H or Ford Australia either just prior to or just after WW2. Here GM-H made bodies for not only GM cars but Hudson and Chrysler product as well.
