Crazy Canadian Woodworking

This is all tongue and cheek but the guy is entertaining.

There's several videos of his techniques on the side panel.
Don't try anything he does  Crazy Canadian Woodworking :D Danny

Danny,

You mean your shop isn't like the Crazy Canadian?

I like his lathe, not that I would try it.

Steve, not a chance.
I have absolutely nothing against Canadians but this guy has fallen off the edge as far as woodworking goes.
This shows what not to do in an extreme way.
The link came from my woodturning club newsletter.
One of our senior members once demonstrated on a real lathe mounted in the hitch receiver of his mini van. Danny

Wow, Danny, that guy looks like an accident just waiting to happen. They failed to show us what happens when his "gouge" catches and the handle flys up and permanently makes the turner's voice much higher. I hope no one trys this insanity. I have enough trouble turning rough, out of balance pieces on a regular lathe. Thanks for showing this clip.
:?  Roly ~~
