The Track Shack - started February 2011. While it still needs a few finishing touches, it was basically complete by September 2011.

What a great class of trailers to join! I wrapped up a few details this weekend, but I consider it a 2011 build for sure. This thread ought to be stickied so we can do this every year and build up an annual library!

Fantastic Scot!

I love the racing theme. (I am a die hard F1 fan.)

Enjoy camping!

Very cool Erik! Nice tow vehicle and camper combo. (From your other post, I enjoyed your first camping trip.)

Take care,
Tom

I was late seeing this topic. Thanks to Sharon for pointing it out to me. The Squidget Pop Top TTT began it's build in January '11 and mostly finished by June '11. I had a few finishing touches to wrap up over the end of the summer, such as couch/bed cushions and window curtains. I made two camping trips in it so far, in October and November.

Here it is, pop top down, ready to hit the road. With the pop top down, the trailer is less than a foot taller than the tow vehicle.

Image

My first camping trip. Here the pop top is up for use. It takes all of about 3 minutes to unlatch and raise the pop top (by myself) and you can then stand up in the galley area.

Image

View of the rear of the cabin. Couch extends forward for the bed (two additional cushions for the mattress are behind the couch). Fold-away mount TV is on the wall to the left and stereo cabinet above and behind the couch.

Image

Front galley counter with cook top unit and sink. Insulated aluminum heat shield protects areas above and in front of the cook top unit.

Image

Cabinet with microwave, ice box and porta potty compartment

Image

I've had two different strangers look at it who told me it looks bigger on the inside than it does on the outside. Maybe I should have named it the Tardis.
Dale

Sometimes I pretend to be normal. But, that gets boring...so I go back to being me.
