Hello from Ohio

Postby Wrylock » Tue Jan 17, 2012 3:44 am

I have been flirting with the Idea of a Scratch Built TT for a few years. I even have a name thought up " Cat's Scratch Box " :) I have a Home Built trailer with a Steel Floor & Stake Pockets welded on. I use it to move my Garden Tractor. I am & have been planning & mentally designing this Tiny Trailer.
I an close to Starting (I think) . I looked at several teardrops. However with the Eurovan Boxy Shape, i don't have to mess with bends. This has ben with me since the early 90s I guess I ought to just take the leap & Start.

Welcome Cathy from another Buckeye. I will suggest joining Tearjerkers 'link at top of page' and checking out the Buckeye chapter. One way to figure out what you want is to see what others have done and coming to one or more gatherings is a good way to do that.

:o thanks for the encouragement!
I am wondering if I can incorporate the Hexayurt into the trailer design instead of a pop up style tent I was thinking of a 4 or five foot tall box with a sleeping loft / platform where. I do like the idea of sliders/ pop outs... Well at least I already have a sturdy trailer :?
