Same as our Modernistic. Looks to be in good shape, fenders look nice, not beat up. Anxious to see what it goes for, bids have increased by over $1500 in the last 24 hours, and 5 days to go.

Looks very good but would be concerned that it is sold on a Bill of Sale rather than clear title.

It all depends on what your state laws are. Here in NY vehicles older than about 1970 don't have a title. I got our Modernistic registered with no paperwork at all from the previous owner, the key to that was, "it has been in my possession for more than one year". I had to do some fast talking though to convince them that it really was a 1946 Modernistic, I wanted the registration to show that.

Does anyone know the true history of these trailers, what is the relationship between Modernistic & Marville? Almost identical except maybe the windows, and I know there were different windows and fenders between the factory assembled Modernistic and the you put it together Cub. My opinion is some of the variances are just because of what parts were available at the time. Or is it lost history. Am I correct in thinking that the Modernaire was a Modernistic but with two doors?
