newby with a roof question

Postby dcarreiro » Mon Jan 23, 2012 12:48 pm

Hello, new from the Central Coast of California. We went to our first TT gathering at Perris Lake, CA to get ideas for or TT that we were building in 2008. On one trailer we saw the guy had FRP for the roofing (fiber reinforced plastic) sold at Home Depot. Very water proof and we liked it since it was white and matched our Chevy Truck. Now I have some bubbles and a few minor cracks. So, how do I fix this? The FRP is textured and what I would like to do is patch the bubbles/cracks sand smooth and paint the roof with whatever to leave a smooth finish on the entire roof. Any ideas out there? Thanks, Dave

First Welcome to the forum

how hard would it be to replace the roof panel, do not know what to use to fix your problem, might be cheaper and quicker also to replace with something more durable
