Hi again, thanks for the warm welcome.
Joanie, I don't know about the wisdom part but i can fake it pretty good, just ask all the young guys i work with, I tell them I know everything !
Here's a picture of the t-bird I plan on pulling the trailer with.
Hi Cliff,
You KNOW why I'm building the teardrop,
It's so flat around here you have to travel a pretty good distance to see any kind of scenery. It's not like I live in Georgia or California or Reno or down by the Gulf( Hi Sandy).......ok, I think Rockinrobin / Ronnie can sympathize with me, but I'm planning on traveling and seeing some of this great country when I retire.
Hi Dave, you and Tom/Aggie79 are the guys that have put me the spot I'm in now, I was ok to just build a simple little teardrop to drag around to car shows and long distance cruises, but since I've seen the light, I WANT MORE ! the only thing I would really be worried about if I were you is all the attention it will draw, I'm pretty sure I couldn't handle the crowds.
I'll have to admit though that hanging around this forum has made me want to get out and try some of these teardrop gatherings and meet the nice people that seem to hang out here.
Ronnie, I checked out your album and it looks like the Palo Duro Canyon camping would be alot of fun, is that something the Amarillo/ area guys do very often?
I've tried to get my wife interested in the idea of doing a little traveling/ camping with the TD but she hasn't warmed to it too much yet, maybe when the trailer starts coming together or a short camping trip to PaloDuro might change her mind.
