It seems that we all need prayers here and there and even more so (for some reason), around the holidays. Sometimes you need to stop and say a prayer for yourself...just to make it through the day, the week and sometimes just for that moment. Remember, it's not about receiving but about giving - giving friendship to someone who needs a friend, giving love to someone who doesn't have it and giving thanks for all that you have been blessed with, even if it's not much. With that said, thank you all for being my friends for years even though I've never met the majority of you. A gift of friendship is the most fulfilling gift of all.

Thanks for your prayers. I have been busy and totally forgot to post an update!

Samantha was discharged a few days before Christmas, and is in better shape than she's been in for quite a while. She even hosted the family Christmas celebration at her place - with several of us showing up a few hours early to do the heavy work so as not to have her too tired out. It was a joy-filled time for all of us!!!
