pet's names

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Most of the cats we've had were strays and/or feral cats that we've adopted. We usually name them after some physical characteristic.

Fur Thing has been with us for about 18 years.

Before Fur Thing, there was Mama Cat - Fur's mother. During the time we've had Fur, we've also had Bad Hair Day (probably part Persian with matted hair so bad it turned into dreadlocks), One-Eared Louie (a cantankerous Tabby tom cat), Red - (a red Tabby), and Black-Black (a jet black shorthair).

Daisy was her name....and I never went camping without her. She'd spin in circles and bark when I was loading the trailer. She got confused 1 time and jumped into Deans trailer when I told her to go to bed. She knew all my builds and Dean had the loaner that she had camped in the most. Doug

And no, I don't know how the name Buttwink came about.

I have a friend who has named one of her animals: Dee-Oh-Gee, probably because it is a DOG. She named another of her smaller pets: See-A-Tee. again, probably because it is a CAT. Now she's thinking naming her reptile: Al-Ugh-Gade-Or.........naw, just kidding.
