New with 'Old' Teardrop

Greetings from Virginia. I'm glad to join you all! Thanks. I bought my Desert Teardrop from ? in Anchorage, Alaska in 1975. I plan to follow gatherings, post pics, stories, etc and I would love to know who manufactured (& date?) my Teardrop. I assume someone towed it from California in the 60's?. My blog has lots of history. Cheers!...Chico Harkrader

Welcome Chico. I can't help you with dating your tear or anything but I have no doubt someone here can!!! I do live in Maryland though (Southern Maryland) so there is a chance we will meet some day. I'll be looking forward to it! There is a small chapter of "TearJerkers" that have gatherings in VA. I don't think the chapter is extremely active, but I met some of them when we went camping in Staunton/Verona VA area at the Shenandoah Valley Campground, and they sure are a nice group of people! The campground wasn't bad either!
