You will do fine. just be patient and things will be fine. ask questions if need be.

You do realize that there is a very very strong possibility you have been on an airplane that i helped build. Just a thought.

Here's what I did. I put a battery in the tongue box with a boat (mountable battery charger connected to it. All my lights are 12 volts. At this point it's like wiring flashlights around the camper right? LED lighting for boats make great lights. Take almost no power.

Then I bought a 375 watt inverter. You can get them anyplace. Even walmart. Connect it to the battery and you've got a 110 volt plug on the side of it for laptop/chargers/other stuff but not coffee pots or microwaves.

Plug your battery charger in with an extension cord and you've got 12 volts and a 110 volt connector in the camper.

One important rule. : be sure to put an automotive 30 amp fuse on the + side of the battery in the battery box.

Also, run a # 12 or 14 wire from the battery to the camper to where all these lights and inverter branch off from.
Conform and be dull.

Based on what I am reading here, I think you are smart enough to figure this out on your own, if the class does not work out!

As an aircraft mechanic for over forty years, I have let the smoke out of some very expensive components on several occasions, ouch!!!
