Jumping right to a page in a topic?

I have been reading the really long foamie thread. At around page 40 something. meant to bookmark it and I forgot.
Can I just somehow jump right to a page number? Clicking next one at a time takes a while.

Go to the first page of whatever thread you want to jump around in.

In this case, this is the link to the first page of the Thifty Alternatives thread....

At the end of that address, you can paste &start= and then a number. The number corresponds to the post number of that thread.

There are 15 posts per page, but the first post in a thread is number 0.

So subtract 1 from the page number you want to jump to, and multiply that number by 15.

For example...

To get to page 20...

Subtract 1 from 20, and multiply by 15. Then use that number at the end of the address, with &start=

19x15=285

If you have a specific post you want to refer back to at some point...

You can click on the little mini white paper icon just to the left of the time/date stamp of the post. That link is the reference address for that individual post and will always bring you directly back to that post, or let you direct someone to a specific post.

So, no, you can't just jump to the page. You have to bookmark the last page before you leave it.
