I had them do the walls only. For the "next-one" I would do it all myself. It was much easier to do than I expected, the material is not expensive and is readily available. I would save the money and do it myself.

If you scroll back up to a previous post there are photos of the insulation after I finished it off. Using spray can foam I got into every nook and cranny and then I used the foil air conditioning tape to seal all seams.

When I did the ceiling insulation I simply set the rip fence on my table saw and cut up the foam board into strips. The install went very fast.

I think I would also delete the plywood because I did not use most of it. I reinstalled it under the bed and under the kitchen counter top. The rest I cut up for the ceiling furring strips.

I went with 5ft, 6 inches. I paid extra to have it made shorter.

I am still recovering (very well) from my hip replacement operation. I am chomping at the bit to get back to work in the trailer.

Getting back to work on the TT. It is time to begin the finish cabinetry work. Dad will be coming up this weekend and we will be making sawdust and taking photos.

Today we began rough cutting the cabinet pieces. The wood, Poplar, I purchase from Wall Lumber in North Caroline. I buy it rough saw with one straight edge. I have it shipped in by truck to my home in Florida. I buy a couple of hundred board-feet at a time.

The wood as it arrived is almost 1 inch thick. I joint one side and one edge, then I run it all through the planner to bring all of the pieces to the exact correct width and all the same thickness. This is less work than it seems. The quality of the wood is far superior and significantly less expensive than buying at Home Depot.

The end of each piece is marked with ID code to keep everything in order.

This router table s used to cut the profile for the inside edge of the door panels and to cut the groove that will hold the center panel in place.

Here is Dad using the small router table to put the radius edge on the outside edge of the doors.

We have also cut up pieces to make a "sample" or test door. This test, or prototype frame and door allows us to work out an bugs in the router set ups and hinge installation.

I wanted to make a small test door and frame to work out any bugs before cutting on the real door and frame material. I have never use these European style hinges. I purchase a drill guide and stop and some other gizmos on line from Rockler. The install went very well. Next we will move on to making all of the doors.

The color sample board I had been keeping the TT was starting to get on my nerves. I began to like the colors less and less every day. Here are the new color samples. Much more mellow that the first colors. I will be using the tan paint on all of the bead board and cabinets. The wall paper is a heavy weight vinyl that I bought online from Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper. I also bought all of my mini blinds there too.

Steve's has thousands of wall paper samples to view online. Also you can purchase individual samples so you can seen the actual product in you hand.

I will be using 12 x 12 vinyl floor tiles that i am purchasing from Home Depot.

be careful using the 12x12 tile peel and stick i put them in my cargo and the next day it was hot stepped in trailer and the glue had got hot and tiles where loose. Other then that good luck on your build keep up the good work.

Everywhere I've used peel and stick ( just intended as a temporary solution), they will come loose sooner or later. But, when I've bought them because I liked their color/pattern and pre-cut size, and glued them to the floor with additional adhesive, they are great. I put them in two bathrooms, and wanted to make sure they were waterproof, and that's why I used flooring adhesive under the peel-and-stick adhesive. They've held up for over 15 years (I hate change!), no lifting, leaks, or any other defects. That's what I'll do on my TTT.

thanks for the heads-up on the peel and stick 12x12 tiles. I will use the trowel on adhesive. I also found at Home Depot there is a primer to paint on the wood floor too.

Today Dad and I installed all of the cabinet doors and the drawer unit under the kitchen counter top.

Your design and execution is inspiring! (I'm also envious of your shop.)

May I ask you a few questions about your CT? I like the flush or inset wheels. What are these called exactly? Can you say what the actual interior width of your trailer is?
