Dock floats or septic tank, either way it shouldn't leak
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Actually this is a heavy duty plastic trailer shell 4' x 7' and used by a local dealer to make Yuppie Wagon trailers. He went out of business and was selling the shell on craigslist. I bought a shell and door and rock guard.

I had the nice little landscape trailer but it just won't work for me so I broke down and bought the heavy duty HF 4 x 8 trailer and cut it down to fit the shell.

The HF heavy duty 4 x 8 is on sale and with a 20% off coupon I got it for $279!

Not sure exactly how I will finish it but thinking of dual duty enclosed hauling trailer and small camper with minimalist approach...maybe add an SUV tent to it.

Here's the link to the Yuppie Wagon site...

Hey nrody my son and daughter-in-law live in Whittier and are going to seminary at Talbot at Biola.

Haven't gotten to California yet but hope to one day. I have dreams of taking a three week trip out in a tear or small camper and stopping at parks along the way taking pictures. Maybe some day.

T@B - Our daughter is a student at Biola. We have been very impressed with the school.

2,249 bucks for a 4x7 trailer.. I see why he had trouble selling them.

Actually he sold 28 before the market busted but yes that's a lot for so little. Of course mine will cost much less.

Biola

Postby nrody » Mon Feb 06, 2012 11:11 pm

Don't want to hijack the thread but... Hey Sonoft@b, Biola is very nearby where I live. It is a wonderful school with an excellent reputation. Good choice for higher education. I was near there saturday crusing estate sales. I picked up a vintage expandable coleman stove stand (they sold the stove the day before and had no idea that that thing was a stand) and a Thermos brand gas lantern from the 70's. The lantern is missing the handle and the globe. I wanted it for the IRG. I hope I can find the parts for it. It says it uses
"any gasoline", not just white gas all that for $10. I spied a homebuilt teardrop in the area too! wonder if they are a member of the forum???
