Hey, slow.
I'm glad your dad got through the surgery ok. I hope everything starts getting better for you both in the coming months.
Happy trails,

I had a neighbor who had stints put in at age 40. He's in his 70's now, and still going strong. So, it's still possible to live long and prosper. Glad to hear your dad is doing so much better. Take good care of your dad and keep a watchful eye on both your parents.

Slo,

Give your dad some hugs from the east coast. I'm so glad you made it through the stress and all your animals are ok too.

I'm guessing you meant weiner dogs as a midnight snack. See? I'm getting better reading Slo-isms.

I sure hope you got your resolve and stubbornness from your mom's side of the family. If it's from your dad's, you might have to duct tape him to a chair during the day while you do chores. LOL.

Hugs,

Slow, I'm so glad your Dad is home and is in good shape. :applause:

Be sure to tell your Dad that even though the stent surgery seems like a piece of cake, that it does take quite a bite out of your energy level (yup, the voice of experience here). Even for you tough cowboy types, it'll be a few weeks before he feels "normal".

And, yes, slow down on the weiners--sensible moderation in all foods.

And, exercise....the Dr's will stress exercise.

Now, catch up on your chores and get back to planning more stuff to do for your TD gathering. 8)

Good to see you back here!!! You were missed!!!

Thank God your dad is going to be ok. He had us all worried around here!

You have some amazing neighbors. That's a rare thing in these parts!!

Hope you catch up on chores soon so you can stay inside and plan the gathering with a little "help" from dad!

Take good care of him..he's lucky to have a good son like you!

So glad your dad is on the mend. I have not been on the forum lately and checked in yesterday and no Slow posts. Kind of wondered what was up. Glad your back. Take care of Pops and Mom and yourself. Prayers for a speedy recovery
