Sketch up 8???

Postby DogStar » Wed Feb 08, 2012 7:49 am

Anyone recommend a "definitive" book for study of Sketch Up 8 (Windows)?

I have design and drawing experience but only in hard copy, (ex-woodworker, raised by an architect) want to start to learn SU8 in some efficient manner and not just trial and error.

As always,
Eric
Always with my thanks,

Very cool, might make best financial sense to buy the DVD since it sounds like the complete online course.
Thanks looking into it.
I love interactive learning methods.

Looks like you can have access 24-7 for 30 days for $25.00.

So if you really made a serious effort a few hours a day you could become fairly profecient for a whole $25.00

I am thinkin' about it also. It would be great for work ! ( and play )

I just ordered the basic DVD for $50.00 the other one is for SU8 Pro and is $100.

I will have to make do without Pro since that gets very pricey.

$25 even $50 with I think $8 shipping, is worth it PRESUMING the course is good. I have done a Lynda course once before and was pleased.

Any other educators out there, SU8 Pro is free. A pleasant surprise.

I have a year subscription to Lynda.com and for the most part have been really pleased with their courses. Some are not so good, but most have been well worth the investment.

WOW!
Sketch Up is great!

So glad to be learning this, going to try to put in 30-60 minutes of study and the beginning of most days (I wake up wicked early.)

I already have a floor assembly question to post but I will wait until I have a SU to diagram it!

Bought time I set-up a sig-file here too....
Always with my thanks,
