Yet another new member

Hi gals and guys. I've been lurking here reading for some time, but figured I'd better join up so I can get some ideas from those that have "been there-done that".

I haven't been camping in years, and the last time was in a tent, I'm determined to make the leap to sleeping up off the ground, -somehow!

I'm sure after the first build, and getting out to use it, will give me all sorts of ideas for the next one, as it seems to do so for everyone.

I live on Vancouver Island, in BC Canada.

I'm going to head off now, to the general topics forum, and ask for some advise!

I don't think I've ever built anything without realizing that I could do it better/faster/cheaper, or differently the next time!
