Holy Cow! I just spent the week upgrading my computer to a new Intel I-5 2400 and installing Linux 64 bit on it. It took me 4 hours to do the install, then a week messing with all the little configuration items to get them where I like.

So I'm finally settled in with my new computer, and I decide to visit the T&TTT for the first time in a couple weeks - AHHHHH! :R

Brand new forum - more configuring!!!

Is this National Computer Upgrade week or something? :R

Seriously Mike, I feel your pain. I just spent the last 2 months at work migrating a fully loaded Linux server that was maintained adhoc for the past 4 years.
Good job. :wine:

Fresh out for right now, but I will keep thinking about it.

I've cleaned out the forum cache... had Jeff delete cookies, try multiple browsers, hit the delete cookies button on the lower RH corner of the forum. Since I think it's a cookie problem, and it's not on Jeff's machine, I think that his ISP has a cache that needs dumping.

Jeff plans on testing that theory tomorrow at a different location with a different ISP.

Mike...

On the main ACP page you can purge the cache of the board too. (or maybe I don not understand that function)

That's exactly right. The forum will cache all the templates used to speed up the system response. Once you make a change to a template, for example, when I update the latest news, that is not disseminated until I clear the forum cache.

Mike..

Hey Slow,

I'll admit it looks a whole lot better when you can see pictures and avatars...

Take your time... You'll be right at home in no time!!!
