Any Catfishermen/women out there?

Postby TopSgtLawrence » Fri Mar 10, 2006 7:13 pm

I am a long time member of an on-line catfish club. I have attended several gatherings with the club and have never seen one of these little campers at a gathering. I am sure other catfish club members are tired of camping in a tent as I am. Sure hope to make/buy me one

Verlon,

If you really want a teardrop, you will have one someday... Some members here take longer than others... but if it is truly on your list of priorities you will have it...

Some members drop out... it wasn't high enough on their list of priorities...

But if you want one bad enough, you will get one...

Most members build it themselves... such a good feeling, a feeling of gratification and success...

Some buy... I can relate to that to. There are times I just don't feel like picking up a hammer...

If you persevere, and really want one... someday, you will have one...

Welcome to the forum. I used to catfish all the time. I moved to the coast and got spoiled though. Used to Bass fish also don't fish for them much anymore either, and I live on a small bass lake.

It's a sit on top kayak. I love to fish offshore in it.

Love to fish for catfish off the dock at my sisters home on Indian Bayou in Destin. I just sit there with a cooler of Coronas and a pole. Usually I dont bother with bait but catch the darn things anyway! hate it when catching interfears with "fishing"

a fishing trip may have a variety of purposes; the acquisition of edible fish may be the least important of these.

Top, there is nothing like getting a shower from a 50 or 60 pound blue cat when it sees your boat. You just ain't lived till you have been slimed. But I don't have to tell you that. :)

Hey Sarg. Not catching anything bigger than a kid. I love to catch/eat catfish but prefer 14 inch channel cats. Fit the pan. You'all can have those monsters.

You know what, with all this warm weather the crappy should run early. Cats too.
