Just a thought on Thrifty ... again ... Was digging around in my “utility/laundry room“ and ran across several boxes of fabric ... :o Big pieces!!! ... Had long forgotten all of those ... First thoughts were, “this could be used to cover a Foamie “ .... Going to look around right here under my nose for more "Lost Treasure" lurking about , that could be used in Foamie building ... who knows ??
Some of this stuff was quite thick ... would be a very strong covering ... Different colors and patterns in the fabric would certainly require painting , unless you were going for a “gypsy” look ...

just had to have this conversation, didn't we! :x i have spotted mice here. brazen little critters they are. anyway, the death traps have been placed out last night. 5 so far are goners. i told you i don't like mice in my kitchen!!!! i wished i could use poison, but not with all the kids and pets i have here, so the traps will have to do for now.

well, some of the tearjerkers are coming down for a foamie build weekend at my place on the 30th of march. so if any of you would like to join in and take a nice long weekend, come on over, down, up and lend a hand, you''d be more than welcomed! pete, i know you could use a vacation. glen, you should talk your "she who must be obeyed" into taking a teeny trip up.

Glen the under 200 wagner big hopper power painter is worth it. Turn that paint job into just days and you could use it to paint your big foamy outside after you build it.

not sure. but it might be the collie eye issues. his eye rolled into the back of his head and sort of stayed there. i know it sounds gross, and it was gross to look at. it seems better, but not great. so i am taking him in. maybe he just has a lazy eye. our appt is for 430. wish us luck. :worship: its not too bad.

Here's your helper or here or here but the harbor freight has hose going to paint can so it would be much easier to clean at the end of use as I have the wagner and the hopper cleaning is a bit of work at the end of using it. Happy painting my friend.......

well i went shopping. and came home empty handed. they do not have the 5x10 mesh floor. special order in store only, which means i have to pay up front and the trailer might not get here for 6 to 8 weeks. so that is out.

so i look at the wood floored ones, and they give me the brochure which states 940 lbs. so i know that is a no-no. so i came home and called carry-on. they say that must be a misprint. it should be 650lbs.

the manual online for carry-on shows the mesh floored one to be 375 and the wood floor one to be 650. so those pieces of wood weights 275lbs? to make up the difference. that is some mighty fine wood!

That is because they are full fledged 2x6 boards full length of the trailer and quite heavy indeed.
