difficult hatch

In your opinion what was the most difficult rear hatch you have ever seen. I am still not sure about what type of hatch to put on. Straight or maybe a slight curve. I am just not sure. Was thinking a picnic table that I could fold up and make that the hatch and cover with canvas as added protection. Yet this made me think that is too much work to get into the galley.
