2+2H Teardrop Sketchup Model

I have always liked the 2+2 designed by Andrew.

I would love to see someone build this design very close to the original design created by Andrew. Since I do not believe anyone has built the actual design without highly modifying it I decided to create it in Google SketchUp.

I followed the plans for the 2+2 high version. There is no details on the cabinets, so I did a fairly simple layout for them. Hope you all enjoy.

Great design Dan. I'm new to this site... will be starting my first build soon. I'm looking over the designs on this site to get ideas. I like the 2nd bed (would be for our dog-Kodiac). Planning on using a Harbor Freight trailer (4X8). Is there a drawing with dimensions available for this design? On an 8ft trailer, can I extend 1ft on back of frame and 1ft on front to make it 10ft long?

Me too! And so I'm happy to announce that I'm building a variant of this design. Not authentic (because what I need is really a 2+1), and of course, changes. Always changes.

So maybe not an exact version, but something similar. Like everyone else, I suppose.

I'll be starting a build thread fairly soon. Just picking up my trailer base in a week or so.
