Was thinking.. That's bad.... But is there Anything I could paint the 4x4 with that would make it hard to climb??

I have a running battle with the furry tailed rats. The latest, was looking down in the front of the car and saw some red fur. One mummified squirrel, dug him out in chunks.

YES! There is a paint coating called Skid Plate. It is a super slick graphite suface. Its primary use is grain augers and hoppers.

I have a Jack Russell Terrier that would take care of your problem. She lives to hunt them. She could spend all day hunting them. I don't let her catch them if I can help it though.
