I just happened to notice the new build in the HOF from Argentina. He uses a galvanized metal roof. Food for thought!

GPW, It also looks like the walls are skinned in canvas.

Up untill the late 70's, most rv manufactureres still put galvanized roof on and a few into the 80's.
They stood up quite well, Still a lot in service to this day, once they get a little rusty, paint them with rustoleum and then a couple coatings of Elastomeric roof coating and they're good for another 20 years

I used galvanized metal to skin the roof on the weekender - all i can say is - Heavy!
