true sizes of width/ interior?

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

Hi Mine is 62" wide and 84" long inside and the galley area is 62"wide and 36" long. I figured I was going to waste a lot of material making a "5x5x10" tear so why not stretch it a little and get some "cover" room on the bed.
( I cut it down to 58" between the wheels wells to narrow the track a little)
The difficult we do now... the impossible takes a little longer

Julie and Joanne, My tear interior measures like Gaston's. 62" wide and 84" long. I installed a real queen size matterss. I had the interior all finished except in the front I left an opening 12" x 62" to slide in the mattress in, then install the insulation and closed up the front and put in the small finished panel on the inside and put on the aluminum top. It really looks great. All I have left is the aluminum trim.

P.S. The reason I left room on each side and ends, is to have room to get my hands around the mattress with the sheets and blankets.

Jim,

Julie, My first was 53.5" wide and 9'4' long, with the cabin being 53.5x76" I used a queen blow up matterace with a foam topper and it worked out pretty good,, the secone is a 4x8 with a 47"x76" cabin,, As far as a matterace I bought a futon matterace and cut it down to size, then added an inch of foam inside for a bit more comfort,, I havent used it but once but it slept good on the trip,,
Another good point about the futon matterace is I can roll it up inside or fold it and it slides out of the door easily
