Just picked up my HF trailer this morning ...

Postby tomm » Fri Mar 09, 2012 5:18 pm

I spent a good part of the rest of the day trying to rearrange my shed to be able to put the boxes in until I can get to them. I'm excited, but a little wary. :) :NC

Congratulations, Tom.

I think it's quite common to be somewhat wary during the initial stages, which isn't bad. Do your research, come up with a plan and remember... if you get in a bind and become stuck this forum is an excellent resource. Review the build journals, study the documentation that's provided and if you don't find your answers, pop the question. You'll find many here that are most willing to assist.

I strongly suggest that you start a build journal with lots of pictures. It will provide you not only with motivation but also support and advice from those following your build. And, the documentation that you do will not only assist you during later stages but also benefit others as well.

Welcome to the madness! Enjoy your build!

What are your impressions of the quality, etc of your HF frame? I'm really becoming torn over selection of my trailer... The price difference between an HF trailer and anything else is just too much not to take a 2nd look.

I can't wait to see one of these HF frames that everyone is using.
As teardrop fames are pretty easy to build to your own exact specifications.
Took me longer to draft mine on paper than it did to build. A little over an hour to cut the steel and weld together.
