Yesereeeee! But it's highly doubtful, unfortunately. (A campout just isn't a campout without a campfire!) :disappointed:

Just wanted to let everyone know we have 2 sites still up for grabs. We went ahead and paid for them just in case we have anyone wanting in late. I can cancel a few days ahead and get our $ back if no one wants them.

Also as everyone arrives you need to let the camp host know that you are with the "Modisette party". I guess we will all go up to the office to take care of paying for the 2nd night and let them know who is going to double up.

It's almost here. :applause:

My brother *might* come up from Austin on his Valkyrie, and tent camp but if it's alright he can pop it on my site. Still not sure if my bredbox will be towable by then... just got wood and such last night, but the weather is gorgeous lately so I should be working on it, huh?

Yes!! just 17 days to go --- and we "spring back" that weekend so we get an extra hour too !!! woohoo!!!

Julie

ps.... ham sausage gr pepper gr onion mushrooms tomatoes jalapenos cheddar cheese.... anything else for your omelets?

Question to all involved:

Is Saturday night the night planned to have the pot-luck dinner? We have plans in Idabel on Friday night with a friend of Fran's, and hoped we weren't going to miss the festivities. We plan on bringing Fran's Enchilada Casserole. (Gooooooood Stuff!)

Yeah, Saturday potluck would be good... don't know if there are some folks coming kinda late Friday night...

And yeah, I guess I was thinking wrong about the time change. Darn, we'll lose an hour but not an hour of FUN !! heck, it'll still be a cool weekend ! I'm so looking forward to meeting everyone face to face.

Hey Julie, it looks as if your prayers may be answered! :worship: At least partially! The Accuweather.com site shows about 6 chances for rain between now and the Thursday before our campout. Don't know if there will be enough to lift the fire ban, but at least we won't be dancin' in the dust! Based on info I'd gotten from Accuweather, I gave you the wrong info. :? Gee, that makes twice this year I've been wrong.

Jus countin' da days! :laughter:

All sites are full................ :applause:

Madjack decided to take one for himself and a friend coming.
Backwoodsman (Greg and Phyllis) decided to go (taking the Coca Cola teardrop).

I will update the list and post this evening of those attending.

We are getting closer.....

Did Backwoodsman buy your CC ? What will you and Charles be livin' in?
I haven't been able to start anything on my bredbox yet... welder had to help his daughter when the fires got close to her property last night, my table saw has a screw loose but luckily my sweetheart neighbor said we'll just take the 2x's to his house and use his table saw... This is starting to be a "we" project with him.... good! But with lots of rain expected this weekend I doubt I'll get floor made and the coating dry to put it on the trailer frame. So I guess I'll have to plan on tent camping at BB. I assume that popping two tents on a site are alright...

QUESTION... if the deck and floor are done, the insulation glued on the bottom, then a layer of that asphalt emulsion... how long will it really take to dry? And if not completely dry , I could still put it on the trailer, right? messy , I know and I have a big indoor workshop for the build so it won't literally be sitting in the rain.

Julie,
We have two teardrops(the Coca Cola and the black teardrop with red flames down the side). The Coca Cola was the first and is for sale. Back in September when we planned to go to Inks Lake we loaned the Coca Cola to Greg and Phyllis and they didn't get to use it. So we told them to try again. Greg was so happy. Guess he will come get it soon.

As far as tents in RV site I don't know. I can call or we can worry about when we arrive.

Julie,

I've never heard of a tablesaw with a screw loose! Do they have "shrinks" for that illness? :?
