Had so much fun tonight

Postby PKCSPT » Sun Mar 11, 2012 10:41 pm

Had to go to one of those award dinners for work and was dreading it. Get all dressed up for a few hours and hang out with people that are I already spend 40 hours a week with is not my idea of fun.
But lo and behold Louis Anderson was the entertainment. They didn't announce it til the dinner part was about to start so had no idea. He was on my if I get the opportunity to do list.
Turned out to be a great evening and 1 of our employees won an award which was pretty cool too.

It's funny what seeing someone in person can do.

I was given a pair of tickets to see Neil Diamond a few years ago. He's not on my list of performers to see, but they were free tickets. We had the times of our lives. It was a great show and we had forgotten all of the songs he's done over the years. Surprises like that are great.

Good to hear you had a good time!

I too got some free tickets to see Neil Diamond and accepted them with uncertainty. I was never a big fan but once I went to his concert I was amazed at how great a show it was. I bragged about his performance for years.
