Ira: Got the $15 dollar camera however you forgot to remind to get BATTERIES. These don't work without batteries.

You can buy at Office Depot or Wal-Mart, and I'm not kidding, a pocket digital camera for like 15 bucks.

 Just kidding. I did forget the batteries cause the guy was explaining in techyeese the differences between the cheapies.

Welcome Mighty Pan. I know you will enjoy most of your visits.

Seeing how this thread has gone all over the place I thought I would just post, that today I received my vinyl pipping so now I can finially finish my tear. I had talked about the need earlier in this thread. $9.99 + $8.25 shipping for 50 feet. Another good buy from ebay. They are out there.

Julie,
That would be a grat way to learn. I have been to model train shows where everyone uses the same measurements to build their tables. Then when they all get together they fit together and make a big train layout. If we all started from the same plans using the same measurements we could just show up with our prebuilt peices and some glue and screws. Then Doug could show us all how to epoxy the sides while we sit around and drink coffee and watch him work. What da' think Doug?

Are we there yet?

I don't get here as much as I used to, and when I do, there's so many posts that it's hard to keep up with what's going on. When I saw the title of this thread I figured I'd take the opportunity to let those that might have noticed, why I haven't been here much or worked on the trailer. Ever since Sue was diagnosed with breast cancer last summer we've been busy living life for today. The trailer can wait for better days.

When I do visit here, it sure is nice to see so many new people building tears. I hope to see some of you this summer in our travels.
George

George , I don't know if you remember or not , but we met at the RV salvage yard in Mi. My name is Greg, I had my TD with me , I was on my way home from Indiana.
I'm sorry to hear about your wife, I will keep her & your family in my prayers. I hope the best for you all & that you can enjoy each other for a long time to come. Take comfort in your beliefs . Yes the TD can wait! Enjoy life as we get it .

Dear Sue and George,
I will put you in my prayer everynight. You will need all your strength to keep the fear at bay. Remember even if God says no he still loves you and will give you the strength you need.

5 years ago I was diagnosed with Melinoma skin cancer just above my breast and I was numb with fear. I knew what it was before the doctor. I was very lucky not to loose my breast but the fear is still there.

The only thing that helps is faith and the love of a commited partner and family.

Sharing your fears helps. Just don't let those who haven't been there make you feel something you don't feel. You both have every right to your feelings, what ever they are.

TD's can wait but can be theraputic too. Shared work is as good as shared joy if you do it right.

God Bless and Keep you!
Miriam
