finally got a 3 burner

I picked this up this morning at a flea market,Everything looks pretty good but the check valve is froze shut so it is soaking with penetration oil at the moment if that dont work will add heat and some presure. Just a quick wipe down with simple green and some paper towels.I got his number he said he has 4 lanterns but did not bring them.Almost forgot this is July 1978.

Looks to be a very lightly used stove....when you say the check valve is frozen shut...that seems kinda odd on a stove in that condition. You did unscrew the fuel pump knob a bit before you tried to pressure it up right? Doug

I removed the rod just to make sure,The tank is clean re-oiled the leather and she will not budge just resistance with nothing going into the tank.

I like the table so far,Havent used it for anything but taking pictures .
But for $11 each they aint bad (I picked up two)

I poked at the ball in the check valve and she poped loose all is good and she works good.If I can stay up past dark I will take a shot of it burning cant see it right now after it warmed up the yellow went away.

Shoot some carb cleaner down into the check valve and let it sit. After a while, try to poke it with a stiff wire to see if you can get it to break loose. Just an idea. Doug

Still not dark enough to get a good picture but here they are.


And it says to only use Coleman 413 generator so I said to myself,Self you have a tank from a rusted out 413
so I tried it and it works perfect also so I have a spare tank.


Here are some better ones darker now and both tanks fit inside the case.No flash so I used a 220F for back lighting.

Hmmm, A 426 with double jugs. So to speak.



I got my first 3 burner first of Dec. from the mid 50s in pretty nice shape. It fired right up.

A 3 burner ! ??? Don't git me started ! I gots a single burner..and a few double burners...3 burners would be the next natural choice ! You folks git me in SO much trouble !

I'm sellin off a buncha vintage stuff so i will have room fer MORE "stuff" like 3 burner stoves !

Awesome! I have 3 burner, nice you can have something going in the (Lodge) fry skillet, mac&cheese or canned veggies going' in the soup pan on the 2nd burner, and still be able to keep the percolator coffee hot on the 3rd burner. I've got three of the 2-burners. Need to get a single burner! AL
