Time between CPES coats?

Postby TheThom » Tue Mar 27, 2012 4:35 pm

I tried to search, but got waay too many hits to find what I was looking for.

I am going to seal the underside of my camper with CPES and then cover it with Grizzly Grip roll on bedliner. How much time should I allow between coats of CPES? At my temps it'll take a week and a half to fully cure. Surely, I don't have to wait that long, right?

What do the folks here do?

Yes you do. You have to wait until it is dry!

Did you get the CPES formula for cooler weather? It will speed things up a bit. I only waited a week between coats on my build, but, I could really only work on it weekends at the time anyway.

Good Luck,
Mike

Yes, I have the cold weather stuff. I'm also off work all this week with hopes to get a bunch of work done before my upcoming deployment. - oh well, it's not like it's going anywhere. :D
