Northern AZ Winter Camping

Postby Thebigdirty » Wed Mar 28, 2012 9:51 am

These pics are from our hunt in Northern AZ 2 weeks ago. This is for some of you that think all of Arizona is just one big desert sand box and thought you might get a kick out of it. The day before we had some wind gusts but we were sitting at a pleasant 60 degrees. I woke up the next morning unable to find my shoes...

Nice and cozy inside...I really did not want to get out of there. Sometimes nature calls though!!!

She held up nicely in the snow!

There was a fire in there the night before, I swear!

Anyone else have some winter camping pics?

Thanks for posting the pics. I do love AZ in the wintertime, but nature can deal you a crummy hand at times. At least someone had a shovel to move the white stuff!

We were some what prepared for the storm as my buddy wanted to test out his new furnace in his pop up. Needless to say the furnace was tested thoroughly! We have another hunt at the end of April for turkey and I'm certain the weather will be much nicer.
