Couple computer questions, forum related

On my tower computer, I have to log in every time I make a post, before and after, even if I click stay logged on, any ideas what that is?
On my laptop I have to clear my viewing history every time before coming here and to ebay, otherwise it just lists the posts on a white screen and a lot of it is jumbled and typed over the other posts, it seems to just happen here and ebay?

Any help?

The notebook, sorry laptop(I used to build computers when they where called notebooks) I think is windows 7(or whatever replaced Vista), the tower is Vista.

I'll need to test that too... maybe this weekend. I've never saved my login since we switched. Heck, I haven't even bookmarked the new forum location. tnttt.com is pretty quick to type.

But please, will someone email me friday night and remind me to test this. I know part of the day saturday I'll be up on the side of the house, fixing a hole I put in the wall many years ago.

Have you tried clearing all your cookies both in your browser and on the board (see bottom of index page Delete all board cookies )? If this does not work, you might want to double check if you have any browser helpers (or add ons) running and try disababling them one at a time and see if one of them is the problem.
