Finally Took Delivery!

Postby wired » Wed Mar 28, 2012 9:05 am

Finally took delivery yesterday of my new 5X10 TD! Still have a few things I want to do - I have ordered baby moons and trim rings, need to put the name on it and get all the old camping gear stowed in it. Can't wait!

Very Nice! When you find some of those baby moons and trim rings please let me know where you found them. I have a 13" wheel 4 bolt pattern and have had trouble finding moons that would fit.

I also have 13" wheels but they are 5 bolt. Searched a bit for the baby moons but finally found some that I hope will fit at Etrailer.com (http://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and ... 90086.html)

Trim rings I ordered through hubcap Mike (http://hubcapmike.com/trim-rings-beauty-rings.html)

If they don't fit I will probably go with aluminum racing discs, but I hate to cover up the red wheels!

Good luck!

Neat door!

So are those 12" or 13" wheels Paul? And thanks for the link. I've been looking for rings for my 12" Crosley wheels that are on the Field and Stream.

Hi Gage
Those are 13" wheels. Good luck on finding the trim rings!

Gage, have you checked wreckers for early 80's and 70's hondas, or other imports, lots of them had 12 inch wheels, I know my 82 civic did, and it had trim rings
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Was hoping to but I work a lot of weekends and that is one I will be working. :(
Hoping to meet up with some of the folks on the forum in my travels, though. Yosemite in June, Burney Falls in July.
