Bear saves man from cougar

Postby S. Heisley » Thu Mar 29, 2012 8:53 pm

We talk about saving ourselves from bears with bear spray; but, this week, a bear saved a man from a mountain lion!

True or not, it's a good story. I'd like to believe it's true. It's possible that the bear simply didn't want the cougar in her terrritory or near her cub and the man got lucky when the bear ran the mountain lion off.

Shifty eyes, huh? .....Maybe the light from the camera? They are testing the blood on the back pack. I hope we hear the results. If it turns out to be cougar blood.......?

Regardless, a bear is a wild animal, not a domesticated one, and deserves respect and space.

From the Urbandictionary: COUGAR > An older woman who frequents clubs in order to score with a much younger man. I thought that this was an off topic item, but no, it was a camping related item. Sorry.

MOOOHAHA! The man is 69; so, if it was a woman "cougar", I'd think she'd have to be at least, say, 75? That would be a Wicked Woman! TeeHeeHee!
Let's leave it at four legged animals. ;)
