Teardrop Fever

Postby Bohemian1946 » Sat Mar 31, 2012 4:36 pm

I've had a mild case of teardrop fever for years now. My girlfriend for the past several years didn't really like the idea of a Teardrop Trailer. Last year she went her own way, so without any objecting parties, I once again resumed my Teardrop quest. I ran across this site and thought and now I find I have good news and bad news. You are a very friendly and knowledgeable bunch of enthusiasts, I've learned a lot about everything, and I have been reading this site for days now,
The bad news is I now have a severe case of Teardrop Fever. It’s apparent that Tear Fever runs wild here. This site has done nothing to quell my passion.
Thanks everyone for the great information.

Thomas,

There is no cure. You'll just have to design a teardrop, and build it.

Please, remember to take pictures... It'll help cure others with teardrop fever!!!

Mike...
The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...

Welcome to the obsession! There is no cure, only treatment. That treatment is to get building, and posting pics.

Yup, I lost one that way too. Still have the teardrop fever though.

Keep your chin up, and keep in mind... "If you build it, they will come." :D

I recently met a girl who absolutely loves my teardrop and is even more excited that I built it myself. When we're somewhere with it and someone asks about it, she's ranting and raving about it more than I am!

Thomas, we threw out the bait and you swallowed it hook, line and sinker. Be aware, there must be a reason that teardrops are designed to sleep two people. Once you design, build and start using it, you may have to beat off those interested gals with a stick. Gals love little cute dogs and cozy teardrops. I have found my dog and teardrop are chick magnets, the problem is, the 80 year old chicks just arn't standing in line to get involved. All tongue in cheek, don' cha know. First step, get that frame and then cut out the cardboard profile, make the necessary changes, and start building. Good luck, and do take pics as you go along.

Yes, Welcome to the forum Thomas!
It does become a fever very quickly.
So far I know the "building" is fun! Can't wait for the "using" part.
Also looking forward to meeting some of the new friends I have met here on this Forum, and attending some of the scheduled "Gathering"s
Good Luck with your quest!
