Porter cable framing gun
A bostitch finish nailer
and a cambell Hausfield brad gun

And 90 % of what I have done on the trailers were with screws

The finish nailer will shoot from 3/4 to 2 1/2 finish nails and if I could only have one of the three the bostitch finish nailer would be my choice.
Growing older but not up !

Paul,

I've got a crazy assortment - Hitachi finish nailer, Porter Cable brad nailer and pin nailer, and Milwaukee narrow crown stapler - that I put together based upon sales and close-outs. All have worked great for hobbyist use. The only issue I have had is with my Milwaukee stapler and it's minor. The depth adjustment doesn't work well on its own unless I turn down the air pressure to around 70 psi.

In my teardrop build I used the narrow crown stapler and the pin nailer the most. The second most used was the brad nailer. The least used was the finish nailer.

Take care,
Tom

A tip? Keep your fingers away from the area when your partner is about to drive a nail.
Please don't ask me how know. Suffice it to say that it didn't go in very far but it hurt
like heck. I felt so smart.
