My New Trailer Project

Postby pappaw » Fri Mar 02, 2012 2:07 pm

Hi Campers:

Just ordered my cargo trailer after 2 years of shopping and research.

I'm getting a 5x10 United with an insulated and finished interior, 2 side windows, a side door with an RV lock and handle, side step, v nose, mounted spare, and a porch light. 8)

Guess that should get me started. Plan on a A/C, shower, toilet, bunks and a tiny kitchen area.

It will be blue with silver wheels to match my tow. :o

 I really want to see pictures of the shower in a 5x10. I really want a shower in my 6x10 and don't think I have the space.

Please share

Well my trailer should be in next week, hope, waiting. :worship:

Been doing some shopping, my big purchase was a new Honda generator which I really like. :applause:

The wife bought some cushions for the dinette/bed. and some lawn chairs. :)

Then I found a chap on Craigslist selling a AC/DC breaker/fuse box, a shower pan, double bowl stainless sink, a cassette toilet tank with the door to install in the side of the trailer (not sure if I can use that or not), a Todd inverter/charger he gave me (which I now think is bad anyway), and an Atwood gas cooktop, which has never been used (not sure if I will use this yet), all for a good price.

Then on evilbay, I bought a 12volt range hood with a light and exhaust fan that ducts to the outside, and a pretty good price.

Need to get an A/C unit next, then a water heater, and a water tank. Need to scope out a toilet, and inverter/charger too.

Cheers: Jeff
