hadn't seen this mentioned, however now I'm sure at least 3 people will tell me it already has
Top gear usa, the three guys get dumped in death valley, with three $5,000 trucks, and have to make it 400 miles without touching pavement to Vegas. they each get one trailer, one TD, one home made box thing, and a pop up, they also try cooking on the engine. neat stuff for most of us.

I don't have much interest in purposeful stupidity! I did watch the program and the lack of any care to preserve the trailers or vehicles was very apparent and you know darn well they did not actually sleep or cook or much of anything else that was serious.

I think that was me, and other than a great object lesson for always checking your trailer over before getting behind the wheel, there is no reason to those idiots. which is why the original UK show is much better!
