LED LIghts

Postby Rolly » Sat Apr 07, 2012 1:39 pm

I just picked up a couple of these at my local store. They make lumens. They have a plastic hook and a magnet on the back. I have seen much discussion about wiring lights, these would be simpler.

I went to the store to look at them but didn't see em where the clerk said they would be. So, I picked up some diamond hones and some of the little flat batteries. While checking out another clerk pointed them out on one of the "specials" racks. The clerk gave gave me a 25% off coupon good for "one item" tomorrow. He "hinted" that one could use it for multiple items. He also said that if I went back with the receipt for today's purchase they could refund the 25%.

Although a lot of stuff at HF is suspect, if you pick and choose you can get some OK stuff for a good price.

Cheers,

Gus

I picked up two of them, the only problem is that they use three AAA batteries and from my experience with other HF LED lights( Which seem to favor AAa) that means a fairly short life. I do use Lithium batteries and we do take the Maha charger with us.

I bought a couple of those at Tractor Supply in Oct.-Nov. timeframe. I gave one away that same day, and I've been using mine sporadically ever since. Reallly comes in handy. I haven't had to change the batteries yet either.

waterproof led spot
12vdc dimmer
inline led dimmer

Yes, AAA batteries and led is a match, but the battery is easy to be used over..... The more troublesome!
