Need Math Help

Postby rebapuck » Sat Apr 07, 2012 10:59 pm

I have a pattern for an 18" doll. I want to make a 14" doll. How much do I reduce (on a copier) the scan? I can't get my head around it.

Your desired 14" pattern is 78% of the 18" pattern. Need reduction of 22%.

18-14=4

4/18x100=22%
Conform and be dull.
