We got the '47 back to Mississippi about 6:30PM Friday night and were too excited to just stay home. Tossed some food in the cooler, grabbed one dry box and a couple of blankets, the sun shade, a couple of chairs and headed to one of our favorite "close to home" campgrounds (1/2 hour from the house). The first night was a little awkward for the girl friend. She's never slept in a teardrop before. Baxter made himself right at home once we lifted him in (short dog, tall first step). Oh.... and there is a new rule!!! No more nickel tours before EVERYBODY is awake. I can't help it that I'm up before the sun when I go camping.

Won't take long before we organize "too much" stuff into the trailer. :?

I finally cleared the rest of the stuff out of Itty-Bitty this morning. And found some boxes in the closet with stuff that I bought at yard sales last year thinking it would be cool for camping. Did find a baby Keurig at Amazon.com that does one cup at a time. We will be down to 1 coffee pot soon.

Leaving here shortly to go to DMV and get ownership of the '47 officially transferred to me.

Jerry my mom gave us her Keurig single cup when we were in TX last week and Sheri is planning on adding that to our tear next campout! I didn't care either way because I don't drink coffee but it has the single cups of Hot chocalate so it works for me. Glad to hear you've got to enjoy your new tear already bud!

I try not to take to much stuff. Most of the "stuff" is for cooking...a fry pan and a few small pots and pans are already packed in my TD. I pack my food, only what I need for a few days. If going on a long trip I can always find a grocery store to restock. Clothing and my art/painting gear and camera is the other stuff. I don't take computer with me traveling. I just wait until I get home because I'm to busy having fun to go online!
