2+2 High Layout

Postby Fishingtomatoseed » Fri Apr 13, 2012 6:50 pm

I was laying out the 2+2 high today and came out on the money on the length but the height came out about 1.75" short. Has anyone else done this.

That will be one cool build! That's an exceptional galley, too! Taking a look and without calculating, I'd say that it sounds like the height of the child's hatch area. (Just a guess.) You'll probably hear from the author within a couple days; so, we'll find out!

2+2 High Layout

I think it will be real nice. I love the shape of it and with a family of four need the space.

Clint,

I did the layout of the 2&2 High twice.
First time on an test/template to see if I like the profile.
Second time was when built the sites to the trailer.
Just went out and measured the trailer and it is 60" as called out in the drawing.
The only recommendation I can make is to re-check your measurement of your layout.
Wolfgang

You have probably already seen it, but I did model the 2+2 high in 3D.

Thank you Dan,

I have looked and looked at the models that you have drawn and thank you for puting in the time to draw them for us that do not have skechup skills. I have read wolfgang's and your builds probably 5 times. I and your recent building got me going. Love the Trolley Top and hope you don't mind if I steal some of your layout. Well have coffee, headed to the shop.

Got the right layout this morning. Just needed to slow down and take my time.
