help with td name

General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

"ESCAPED2" is now the name for my new Teardrop. The vanity plate on the Escape is "ESCAPED", and on the TD is "ESCAPD2". From where? If it's on teardrop time, does it really matter????

What's more important is where did you escape2?

I'm not sure I could do vanity plates. I have to have commercials for the truck here in CA if I'm towing. I have had vanity plates for the Celica in 2 states, but gave them up when I moved out of the SF area.

That's a nice idea, Verna...I'm surprised nobody beat you to those plates!!

The wife insisted that we name the weekender that I am currently building. We've about settled on "Twonight Max" (or Max for short) since that will be about the length of most of our camping trips.

It was hard and took us a long time to name our Silver Shadow... because "Silver Shadow" was printed on it nice and handsome like. We ALSO called our the RV for a while (as a joke, cuz you could fit the whole tear into an RV). Then it went to "the camper" because we weren't feeling comfortable using someone elses name for it ("Silver Shadow). Strangely enough we got the name for our teardrop when we went to a pet shop! My Puck was named Reba, because she's an Eriba.

My first VW was named Joe, because I painted him Montana Red.

CONTINUED FROM ABOVE>>>

Sorry! Kid was having a seizure so I had to run... now for the best part...

The name we came up with, we found on a sticker in a pet shop... We came up with the name "Catatude". My daughter LOVES cats and she has a lot of attitude (not a bad type of attitude). We also feel that the Silver Shadow has a lot of attitude (once again, not a bad type of attitude)! So CATITUDE it was and has been ever since!!!
